With the number of changes in this version, I've decided to call it "V6" instead of "V5.3". A lot of things already performed quite well in V5.2, so you may not see as big of an improvement for some monsters, but now nearly everything is both recognisable (compared to the main encyclopedia entries) and quite consistent. I'll continue to work towards fixing the remaining non/low-performers, but I'm quite happy with the majority of them now, so V6.1 will likely be more focused on more "experimental additions" like "themes" and more specific clothing.

Below is a brief overview of this version's changes, refer to the new taglist for individual tags and more detail:

  • Changed the way limb-features are referred to, to allow for more customisation. Arms use "[feature] Hands" and "[feature] forearms", while legs use "[feature] feet" and "knee/thighhigh [feature]". I also tried adding toe-control for the feet with "[num]t", as an additional thing added onto the feet-tags, but it doesn't work very well right now.

  • Changed wing colour tagging to use "[color] wings" to improve consistency, and added "two-tone wings", which is used alongside either "[colour] feathers" for "feathered wings", or "[colour] wing-webbing" for "leathery/scaled wings". The feathers refer to the ones further from the main 'skeletal part' of the wing (so for "winged arms", it'd be the part that branches off from where her arm would normally be), while wing-webbing is fairly self-explanatory.

  • Changed tail tagging to be standardised across different species, so lamia tails are tagged in the same way as regular ones. "[Color] tail" refers to the entire thing for most tail-types, but if an underside is mentioned (or it has one by default, as with lizard and lamia tails) it refers to the top side, while "[Color] underside" can be used for the bottom half. Cat tails are now tagged as "animal tail, prehensile-tail", as the dormouse and kakuen have them without being 'cat-girls', and "scaled tail" now only refers to the dragon-like girls, so regular lamia tails should have less emphasis on their scales by default.

  • Changed arachne leg tags to "abdomen-legs_spider/arthropod", mostly to allow the atlach-nacha and soldier beetle to have their regular legs.

  • Changed "minigirl" to "mini person", which works a lot better.

  • Linked artstyle tags via underscores, and shortened a few. Tags are now "[Style]_artstyle", see taglist to see those availabile.

  • Split "arthropod limbs" into "arthropod-arms" and "arthropod-legs", although I'm looking into making them consistent with the new fur/scale tags. Also separated "insect wings" into "insect-wings_horizontal/vertical", but both can be inconsistent.

  • Small changes to slime-related tags, so now "dripping liquid" and "liquid strands" are separated from "dripping-slime" and "slime-strands". "Slime-puddle" and "slime-mass" are now also tagged more consistently, so they should work better for both slime-girls and the parasite-slime/slime-carrier.

  • Small changes to general tagging syntax. Any feature with multiple variants now uses dashes, with the variant type being separated by an underscore (eg: animal-ears_angled). This only applies to things that are very similar, something like "prehensile-tail" is different to "animal tail", but not "prehensile-tail_thin".

  • Added a few experimental tags (see taglist) to test for future development.

As always, I appreciate the feedback I've gotten, and I encourage you to let me know if you find anything I could look into. A lot of the time I spend testing is spent differentiating between genuine issues and general AI quirks, so being directed to said issues speeds things up a lot.

I'll be working on my slime-carrier model next, then maybe V6.1. I've managed to get the barometz working with it too, and I've added a lot of things for customisability so far, I just need to get things working consistently.
